The European Youth Parliament (EYP) brings together young people from 33 European countries. At more than 80 sessions per year, we debate and discuss hot topics of the European agenda. The EYP represents a unique platform with the aim of involving young people to actively take part in Europe’s development. While developing their inter-personal, analytical and language skills the delegates are also introduced to the vast cultural diversity of Europe. The ‘flagship’ events of the EYP are its annual three International Sessions.

“How much does this German sausage cost?” – “3 Oskars!” – “Are you kidding? I’ll give you 2 Oskars! This would be a fair price!”
Be prepared to Trade! We introduce to you the brand new currency for the European Forum Regensburg:
Oskars!
They are looking good, they are handy and they fit to everyone’s purse. Invented by Oskar, our third Head-Organiser and the session mascot, the Oskars will be your currency during the whole session. Starting with “Eurovillage”, where you have to buy your food and drinks and where you can sell the food and drinks from your country! Every delegate will get 5 Oskars as seed capital. Bring a lot of traditional food for selling and become the next Bill Gates through your awesome trading skills!
Oskars will help you getting specials at Coffee Breaks and will bring much fun to the “Bavarian evening”. By playing bavarian games you can earn Oskars. Win “Fingerhackln” or just demonstrate your unbelieveable power by lifting steins.
